Art Games Series, 8 wall pieces, 2003 (Wall 6’ x 6’)

"This series mocks the politics of the art world. Silly rants about portfolio presentation, networking, muses, emerging vs. emeritus artists, art schools and the exhibition process describe the dances we all know and love."

Excerpt from installation text:
Choose-A-Muse Game (select one per lifetime)
"Central aesthetic tenets of a previous movement...
The glint of sun on water...
Romantically distressed gutskin artifacts...
Space is what surrounds us...
Rabbit traps...
Facile reductivist homages...
Stale visual punditry..."

High School Studio Rat
